At only 31 years of age James Cooper has over 7 years experience running his own business development practice helping small and medium businesses from a wide range of sectors including; professional services, trade services, retail, technology, manufacturing, exporting, importing, and distribution.

James regularly writes in the mimosaPLANET small business development blog, and travels a lot. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, he has embarked on a number of years of lifestyle & business experimentation. Living in multiple cities for short 1 to 3 month periods and visiting many locations around the world (discover which cities). At the same time operating and running his business from anywhere in the world. Along the way he has experimented with working just 8 hours a week for 3 months, all the way up to 90 hours per week. He has tested his personal outputs and business results, gaining a unqiue understanding of how to drive business improvement and results.

James is obsessed with finding ways small & mid-sized business owners can get better results. He attends a range of business events and discussions; small business expos, summits, social media conferences, marketing seminars, with the focus of fine tuning useful information into actionable tasks for small business owners.
